In the new semester, let’s welcome Mr.Gavin Johnson as the Foreign Head of School.Under the leadership of Madam Zhang, Mr. Gavin Johnson is fully responsible for managing the educational and teaching management of SIBS.
深耕教育領(lǐng)域24載的Gavin校長(zhǎng),擁有15年國(guó)際教育實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn),曾在英國(guó)、卡塔爾及中國(guó)多所國(guó)際學(xué)校,積累了豐富的跨文化教育管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)。他畢業(yè)于英國(guó)Edge Hill大學(xué),不僅取得教育學(xué)碩士學(xué)位,還擁有計(jì)算機(jī)與商業(yè)管理雙學(xué)士學(xué)位,有深厚的學(xué)術(shù)背景與多元知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備,為其教育實(shí)踐奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。
Mr. Gavin Johnson is a lifelong educator with 24 years of experience in diverse educational settings, including 15 years in international education, where he has held leadership roles across England, Qatar and China. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT and Business Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Edge Hill (UK).

A specialist in inquiry-based and constructivist approaches, Mr. Johnson brings extensive expertise in IB programs (PYP, MYP, and DP), emphasizing conceptual understanding, interdisciplinary learning, and the development of critical thinking skills. His experience with A-level and IGCSE systems further underscores his adaptability in aligning curriculum frameworks with student-centered outcomes. Over the past 11 years in China’s bilingual schools, he has championed cross-cultural pedagogy, integrating Eastern educational rigor with Western emphasis on creativity and student agency to cultivate globally competent, internationally minded learners.
